Jessica Crandall

Jessica Crandall is the general manager of Denver Wellness and Nutrition Center-Sodexo, where she supervises a team of six dietitians who focus on fulfilling the diverse nutritional needs of the community. She believes in helping consumers navigate the nutritional maze to lead healthier lives. As a Registered Dietitian, Crandall has a passion for nutritional counseling for weight management, sports nutrition, bariatric education, diabetes prevention and management, cardiac diet modification and family meal times. She also works with children who have special nutritional needs. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator and an AAFA-certified Group Fitness Instructor. Crandall earned her Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and completed her post-graduate work in Oneonta, N.Y., with rotations at Rose Medical Center, through which she is accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Among her accolades, she is the current national spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition And Dietetics; and she was named Colorado Dietitian of the Year in 2009, leading to her election as President of the Colorado Dietetics Association in 2010. She is a strong supporter of public policy for dietitians and their professional development. Crandall is frequently asked to speak for a variety of media outlets, including weekly segments on Fox News and Channel 9 NBC News. She has been quoted in WebMD, "Prevention," "Shape," "Weight Watchers," "Men's Fitness," "Readers Digest," and "Martha Stewart Whole Living."
