Tim Ziegenfuss

Dr. Tim Ziegenfuss is an internationally recognized author, speaker and researcher with expertise in exercise science, dietary supplements, nutrition and sports performance. He is the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of the Center for Applied Health Sciences; a past President (2009-2011) and Fellow of the International Society of Sports Nutrition; a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist; and Chair of the Sports Nutrition and Exercise Science program at Huntington College of Health Sciences. During his five-year tenure as a professor, he taught undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise physiology, metabolism, body composition, anatomy, physiology, path physiology and sports nutrition. In addition to publishing over 35 scientific papers, seven book chapters, and more than 600 articles in mainstream magazines, Dr. Ziegenfuss has been quoted in Scientific American and made presentations in Washington D.C. on behalf of the dietary supplement industry.
