Abby Wambach's Med Ball Core Workout

Abby Wambach's Med Ball Combo is great explosive training for any soccer player looking to strengthen their core.
Medicine Ball Oblique Rotation- Squeeze med ball between knees- Keep back and shoulders flat on ground and arms out to sides- Rotate body, touching outside knee to ground- Variation: perform exercise with straight legs and med ball between feetSets/Reps: 4x5 each side
Med Ball Sit-Up Throw,:- Start in Sit-Up position four feet from partner or wall- Engage hip flexors and abs to generate power- Follow through with arms upon releasing ballSets/Reps: 4x5
