Iman Shumpert: I'm Iman Shumpert, down here at the Adidas Rookie Orientation, I'm about to show you guys how to Euro-Step. First thing you want to do is when you get on the break away, there's always that guy that comes across and wants to take your charge. What I learned to do is to attack real, real hard with whichever hand you're going to. You attack real, real hard and the object is to through this shoulder, and once the guy commits, you throw the other shoulder. Now you're just finishing at the rim.
Now what you ideally want to do is probably get a cone and put it about right here, the spot where the defenders going to take the charge. So you're going to get a cone and put it about right here, or you can just use a dummy defender. What you want to do is usually start back about where the volleyball courts are. You want to get a full head of steam. Push it out. Push it out. Push it out. And right as you get here, you want to throw this leg here, throw this leg here, finish at the rim. That's how you Ero Step right there baby.
