About the Video
Trent Richardson is one of the strongest players in the NFL because he works hard in the weight room with muscle-building exercises like the
Elevated Reverse Lunge With Plates,
Dumbbell Push Press and
Kettlebell Lateral Lunge, all of which make him a more powerful and explosive running back.
However, as Trent explains in the video above, his massive muscle and strength wouldn't exist without proper post-workout recovery nutrition. Trent doesn't simply go hang out or play video games when his workouts end, he makes sure to consume the right amounts of protein and carbohydrates within 30 minutes of finishing his training session.
Trent's favorite protein sources include grilled or baked chicken and he turns to pasta and rice for carbohydrates after a workout. He also makes sure to replenish his fluid and electrolyte levels by drinking a Gatorade.
