About the Video
The Med Ball Swing Through is an exercise that helps golfers more efficiently decelerate on their backswing. For Stallings, the ability to decelerate on the backswing allows him to generate more power on his downswing, which results in longer distances on his drives. Stallings will drive the med ball back as if he was in his backswing, pause for one count, and accelerate through his swing. Just as important is that Stallings performs the Med Ball Swing through to the opposite side of his golf swing, as if he were swinging left-handed. This teaches his body to fire more efficiently on his weak side and correct any strength imbalances. Stallings performs between two and four sets for six reps of the Med Ball Swing Through.
