Three-time Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings explains her daily eating schedule and discusses how this fueling helps support her intense training.
Kerri starts her day off with whole-grain Eggo waffles with agave butter, and when she is in a rush, she has a protein shake with berries instead. She eats energy bars and drinks Gatorade during her workouts to ensure she is fueled up and hydrated, and then makes sure to get enough carbohydrates and protein in within an hour after her workout ends. When dinner time rolls around, Kerri tries to keep things simple with lean protein in the form of chicken or fish and side of vegetables.
