Shortly before the 2016 Rio Olympics, Paul George elected to get LASIK. His buddy Chris Paul apparently talked him through the procedure.
Well, George absolutely went off the next season. He set career highs in points per game (23.7), free throw percentage (89.8%) and field goal percentage (46.1%). Considering that George had shot 86% from the free-throw line and 41.8% from the field prior in the previous season, there's little doubt LASIK helped him sharpen his game.
