adidas Originals x Def Jam Attitude Hi – 'Public Enemy'
In honor of legendary rap group Public Enemy, adidas Originals, with the band’s label, Def Jam, released a sneaker called Attitude Hi. The shoe ($104) salutes the revolutionary rap group, with colors inspired by their It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back album.
Sole Collector reports, “Black leather takes control on [the] majority of the upper, while white perforated leather fills in the toebox and Three Stripes. Yellow hugs the heel of the shoe, as well as an isolated lace eyelet below the ankle. Green works the inner liner and [complements] the Three Stripes. A white stitch offers contrast on a black midsole, which sits above a white rubber outsole. Completing the look, a Def Jam patch appears on the tongue, while adidas x Def Jam branding is seen on the side panel.”
The Def Jam Attitude Hi is available at SNS.
STACK recommends Public Enemy’s 1988 album, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back. Tracks such as “Don’t Believe the Hype” and “Bring the Noise” are guaranteed to add some extra fuel to any workout. It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back is available @ iTunes.
We’ll leave you with this adrenaline-filled remix of “Bring The Noise,” by DJ Benny Benassi.
