Baron Von Strucker

Ultron won't be the only baddie wreaking havoc in the upcoming Avengers sequel, Age of Ultron. According to Latino Review, another villain, Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker, will also go up against the superhero team.

A former Nazi with superior intelligence and strength, courtesy of the Satan Claw he wears on his right hand, Von Strucker is a leader of the evil organization, HYDRA. Think of it as the anti-SHIELD. We were first introduced to it in Captain America: the First Avenger.

It is unclear how the ageless Von Strucker will fit into the overall plot, but LR speculates he will come into the film as the employer of the team's two newest members, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. The info seems reliable, since that duo first appeared in the Marvel Universe working with another evil team, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, before coming over to fight the Avengers.

Von Strucker will likely be the first bad guy we encounter, to be quickly dispatched by the Avengers while the real threat—Ultron—gears up to fight them in the final act. Maybe he'll be the villain working in the background of the upcoming Captain America movie, The Winter Soldier, and for some reason Cap won't be able to pull him out of the shadows and serve up a defeat until the beginning of Avengers 2.

The Winter Soldier will hit theaters April 4, 2014. Age of Ultron will make its debut on May 1, 2015.
