Sled Drags + Unloaded Sprints

Sets/Distance: 2×30 yards; upon completion of sled drives, perform two unloaded sprints for same distance

Coaching Points: Stay tall // Focus on pushing through the ground behind you as soon as your foot strikes the ground // Drive your arms forward and back as fast as possible

Barlow: "The sled drags help with Andre's running form for absolute speed. The sled pulls from behind and allows him to get into an upright posture, which reinforces proper running mechanics. Hopefully, those proper techniques will carry over into the free runs, so it becomes automatic for him when he's running the bases."
