WATCH: This Australian Rugby Player’s Hamstring Strength Will Blow Your Mind
We’ve brought you a lot of videos of athletes performing feats we could only dream of achieving here at STACK, but this one, from Greater Western Sydney Giants player Dylan Shiel, should not even be humanly possible.
Beginning on his knees with a trainer holding his feet, Shiel bends forward from the waist with his hands at his sides (without touching the ground) until his torso is almost parallel with the floor. He then recoils back to the starting position, and goes again.
The pure strength needed to execute this move—in your legs, core and every fiber of your body—feels like it cannot be measured by the human mind. The Giants Facebook page asks, “How many of these could you smash out?” The answer, for probably everyone else except Shiel, is zero.
