Cody Hughes

Cody Hughes is a sports performance professional who specializes in proper movement and wellness. He is a young and passionate coach who strives to go above and beyond for his athletes and clients. He is currently the Director of Human Performance at Madison Academy High School in Huntsville, Alabama, overseeing all physical development for the school's students from 7th-12th grades. ​Hughes also has experience at the FBS (Mississippi State - Volunteer), FCS (McNeese State University-Associate Director of S&C), and Division 2 (University of West Alabama-Graduate Assistant) levels.​ He is CSCS, SCCC, and FMS certified and acts as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama-Huntsville in the Kinesiology department. He is the main instructor for the Advanced Principles of Strength and Conditioning and CSCS Prep courses. ​ He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology/Biomechanics from the University of Montevallo and his Master's Degree in Sports Administration from the University of West Alabama. ​ Hughes and his wife, Connor, live in Huntsville, Alabama with their son Beckham and their black lab, Breken.
