Dan Hutchison

A native of North Dakota, Dan is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and previously spent 10 years directing the Ultimate Speed, Inc. program, based in Jupiter, FL (affiliate of Athletic Republic®). Dan received his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from North Dakota State University in 2000 and his Masters degree in exercise physiology from the University of Kentucky (UK) in 2002. At UK, Dan was a graduate assistant in the Athletics Department, working as a strength and conditioning coach for the baseball and tennis teams, while assisting with the football and swimming teams. Dan holds certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), the National Athletic Trainers Association as a Certified Athletic Trainer , and through USA Track and Field as a Level 1 certified coach. Dan is the current Colorado State Director for the NSCA. Dan also consults for Perform-X Training Systems (Denver, CO) and USA Football (Indianapolis, IN). Dan’s wife, Adrienne, is an Occupational Therapist and avid endurance athlete. They enjoy competing in endurance events, Nordic and alpine skiing, and spending time with their two kids, Bailey and Nash.
