David Hesse

David Hesse is the assistant director of IMG Academy Athletic and Personal Development, where he oversees day-to-day management of 35 staff members who deliver specialist training to elite athletes in strength and conditioning, mental conditioning, nutrition, leadership, vision and sport medicine. His training as an organizational psychologist led to an eight-year career as a management consultant in London, U.K., where he specialized in business transformation and organizational change. Hesse worked with multi-national companies across numerous business sectors and government departments. In 2007, he set up his own consultancy specializing in performance psychology for both business and sports, which led to contracts with national sport federations, national governing bodies and elite athletes in the United Kingdom.
