Dennis Kline C.S.C.S., R.S.C.S has managed the Strength Center for the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse since 1998, also serving as assistant track coach from 1998 to 2007. During his nine-year track tenure, Kline coached 10 individual national champions in throwing events, while his teams won 14 NCAA national championships.
In 2006, Kline joined with Olympic gold medalist Andrew Rock to start Fitness Motivation Systems. He also served as a strength and conditioning consultant for the Mammoth Track Club (Mammoth Lakes, Calif.)
As a track and field athlete (hammer thrower), Kline was ranked in the top 50 in the U.S. for a decade. He competed in the 1996 U.S. Olympic Trials.
Kline received his bachelor’s degree in 1990 and his master’s degree in 1992 from Miami University (Ohio). For six years, he chaired the College Strength and Conditioning Professionals, a special interest group of the NSCA.
