Michael Coleman is the co-founder of the Kansas Basketball Academy Foundation (KBAF), a non-profit organization whose mission is "to provide high quality workouts and exposition opportunities for student athletes to gain recognition by post-secondary athletic programs." He trains athletes for basketball, speed and agility through academies and outreach programs in South Central Kansas. Coleman has coached Semi-Pro, NCAA Division III and high school basketball in six different states (Arizona, Kansas, New Mexico, New Jersey, Ohio and Virginia). He has coached in the state playoffs in three of them (Arizona, New Jersey and Ohio). He is committed to using sports as a tool to inspire student athletes to achieve in life.
