Ryan Hoover is the co-founder of the We Are Fit to Fight program and a trainer of instructors in eight different countries. Over the past two years, he has worked closely with the Carolina Panthers strength and conditioning staff and has personally trained several players, including Greg Olsen, James Anderson, Jordan Senn and Thomas Keiser. He has also trained many of the actors on the NBC show "Revolution," including the lead, Tracy Spiridakos.
Hoover has black belts in several systems, and he is a 2nd degree black belt in Krav Maga. He has co-authored three books on Krav Maga—"KM for Beginners," "Black Belt KM" and "KM for Women"; he is a Krav Maga Force Training instructor; and he trains Krav Maga trainers.
Hoover is also a certified natural trainer and a speed, agility and quickness trainer. He co-founded a self-protection program, Hard Ready, and a kids program, PRIDE, and he has been instrumental in developing defensive tactics curricula at the state level. He owns two training centers in North Carolina.
