Other bugs include sound issues and graphical errors.

The developer quickly released a 677 MB patch for the PC version to address the issues.

A number of the issues can be avoided if gamers update to the latest graphics card drivers. However some PC gamers using the AMD graphics card with Windows 8 have experienced the "red screen of death" error, which results in a crash.

Some Xbox 360 users also received an error message indicating they are running an incompatible version of the game when they try to access multiplayer online servers, but a small Day 1 patch was released by DICE with improvements to the multiplayer portions of the game.

Server queues have also been glitchy. Battlefield engineer J.B. Riley explained, "Server queues are a bit buggy at the moment and have been disabled."

Battlefield 4's China Rising DLC is scheduled for release on Dec. 3, and premium subscribers will have exclusive access to the multiplayer content for two weeks prior to the general public release, scheduled for Dec. 17.
