The Tar Heels had an up-and-down year, which ended with a second-round exit after they blew a nine-point half-time lead against Kansas. You couldn't fault them for their footwear, though, as UNC players laced up in a brand new Tar Heel white-and-blue colorway of Carmelo Anthony's latest signature shoe. The kicks were cool on their own and looked incredibly sharp in harmony with the rest of the Tar Heels' uniforms. The Heels could've used 'Melo himself against KU, but settling for a rare pair of his shoes doesn't seem like a bad second option.
