The gaming world is buzzing about Bioshock Infinite coming out this week, but don’t overlook Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel or “Siberian Strike,” the new downloadable content for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2.

Bioshock Infinite has been one of the industry’s most anticipated titles since it was announced in 2010. According to early reviews (Metacritic currently has it at 95/100), the game does not disappoint. Like previous entries in the series, Bioshock Infinite is a first-person shooter, but it’s set in the flying city of Columbia instead of the underwater Rapture of the previous two games. In this game, as main character “Booker,” you’re tasked with saving Elizabeth, a girl who has been imprisoned since childhood. With her power to change the environment and Booker’s willingness to augment his own abilities, there should be plenty of paths that will take you to the end. The game lands in stores today.

Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel hasn’t been getting as much press as Bioshock, but at least give it a chance before you immerse yourself in Columbia. This third-person shooter lets you play as a mercenary fighting the Mexican drug cartel. When the launch trailer came out, Polygon reported that this installment of the series was designed to feel more grounded in reality, but in their opinion, the attempt to be serious fell flat. But that’s not to say there won’t be a great game hidden in there. If violence is your thing, you’ll get plenty of it in Devil’s Cartel, which also comes out today.

“Siberian Strike” isn’t a full game, but it’s definitely one of the most highly anticipated DLC packages for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. According to Joystiq, it’s the first single-player DLC. It sets you down in a remote Siberian village. The catch? You don’t have any spotters. You have to find and snipe your target just using maps! The DLC will go live on PSN, Xbox Live, and Steam tomorrow and will cost about $10, depending on what console you’re using.

Next time you’re looking to pick up a hot shooter, consider one of these great titles. Bioshock is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year. Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel has a much grittier feel and might be better for blowing off steam. “Siberian Strike” will probably require a lot of thought, considering the tactics are more difficult, so it might be a great way to exercise your mind.

Of course, you don’t have to pick between them. If you want to add to your shooter collection, bring home all three!
