Bryce Harper Wore a 'Make Baseball Fun Again' Hat After Homering (Again) On Opening Day

Bryce Harper still enjoys getting under the skin of baseball purists.

Bryce Harper, an American hero, homered in his first at-bat of the 2016 MLB season, the fourth time he's homered on Opening Day. The dude's only been in the league five years. Harper's bomb to right field helped the Washington Nationals take down the Texas Rangers, and after the game, Harper continued to troll people who take issue with how he plays, which by our estimate is every single baseball fan over 50 years old.

Bryce Harper, an American hero, homered in his first at-bat of the 2016 MLB season, the fourth time he's homered on Opening Day. The dude's only been in the league five years. Before the season, Harper appeared on the cover of ESPN The Magazine, and the article quoted some stern words from him on  baseball's "unwritten rules." Harper bemoaned the fact that players are not allowed to have fun, lest some poor soul be offended by a bat flip. While speaking to reporters at his locker following the Nationals win yesterday, Harper donned a white hat with the words "Make Baseball Fun Again" written in red, a play off Donald Trump's silly but increasingly horrifying campaign slogan.

Here's hoping Harper continues to troll baseball purists until the end of time.
