How did Carolina Panthers Pro-Bowl QB Cam Newton prepare for his historic NFL season this past summer? With trick throws and celebratory dance moves, of course. He’s had to make quite a few tricky passes during the season, which have resulted in opportunities to display his dancing prowess. So, practicing both elements last summer made a lot of sense for the NFL’s most electrifying player.
The video above shows Newton having fun at his Cam Newton Foundation 7-on-7 Championship Event in Fort Mill, S.C. last July, weeks before he reported to training camp. Newton hits a tiny target from more than 40 yards away, and then, in typical Cam fashion, he boogies down to celebrate.

We can’t say for sure that his trick throw and dance session contributed to Newton’s NFL MVP campaign, but there’s no doubt this clip is entertaining. It doesn’t get much more Cam than this.
