The Carolina Panthers left Charlotte today to make the trip to San Francisco, where they will take on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50. They boarded buses at Bank of America Stadium as hundreds of fans showed up to give them a first-class sendoff. As expected, team leader and likely NFL MVP Cam Newton stood out from the crowd, but this time it wasn’t for his athletic prowess or dabbing.

As he made his way to the bus, Cam was sporting tight gold pants—loud as hell with multiple designs, including a zebra print (we think). You would think he’d want to wear something with more flexibility and breathing room on a cross-country flight, but style definitely trumped comfort in this case. Superman capped off the outfit with sleek and flashy gold-toed slippers.
