Carmelo Anthony is Using His Off-Season Workouts to Add a Brand New Move to His Game
New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony has played 13 seasons in the NBA, but that hasn’t stopped the man called Melo from putting in the work during his off-season to add a new wrinkle to his game.
Even with the 2016 Summer Olympics looming next month, Anthony has been logging hours with trainer Chris Brickley to add a perfect mid-range floater to his game. As Melo continues to get older (he’ll be 32 when the 2016-2017 NBA season starts in October) and his athleticism begins to decline, he’ll need to rely more on his outside shot. Adding the floater will help Anthony, whose handles are underrated, keep defenders from sticking to him on the perimeter, because he will still be a threat to drive the lane.
Anthony has spent a fair amount of time enhancing his dribbling this off-season, and it will be exciting to see him debut his new floater when Team USA takes the court for the first time in August.
