Cleveland Indians Infielder Yandy Diaz Is the Most Jacked Player in Baseball
The Cleveland Indians will have some new muscle in their lineup to start the 2017 season.
Yandy Diaz, who batted .325 in 95 games at Triple-A Columbus last season, made the big-league roster out of camp and is expected to garner substantial playing time at third base during the early going as Jose Ramirez has shifted to second in place of the injured Jason Kipnis, who is expected to miss a handful of games in April.
The 25-year-old Diaz crushed the ball in spring training, recording a .458 batting average and a 1.252 OPS. But we’re not here to talk about his bat—we’re here to talk about his muscles.
Quite simply, Diaz might have replaced Clint Frazier (another player who came up through the Indians minor league system) as the most jacked player in baseball.

Diaz looks more like a professional wrestler than a typical MLB infielder. His biceps have their own zip code. The muscles aren’t just for show, either. Here’s Diaz repping out 315 on the Decline Bench Press with little trouble.
