It’s been a week since the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA championship, defeating the Golden State Warriors to bring Cleveland its first major professional sports title since 1964, when the Browns won the NFL championship.
With Cleveland’s happiness at an all-time high, the Cleveland Indians are on a road trip that looks quite similar to the Cavs’ journey to the NBA Finals. The Cavs’ Twitter account noticed the similarity, tweeting the schedule at the Indians’ Twitter account.

The Cavs played the Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks and Toronto Raptors before meeting the Warriors in the Finals. The Indians will finish a road series against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, after which they will travel to Atlanta to play the Braves and to Toronto to take on the Blue Jays.

The Indians replied to the Cavs, taking a not-so-subtle jab at Ayesha Curry, Steph Curry’s wife, who infamously tweeted the NBA was rigged after the Cavs won Game 6 of the Finals.

But when someone didn’t seem to understand the subtweet, the team’s Twitter account went all in on the reference.
