A provocative new TV series centering on a con artist is in the works at TNT. The cable channel has ordered a pilot for the drama titled Good Behavior. The script for this series is based on the Letty Dobesh books by author Blake Crouch.
Michelle Dockery will star as Letty Dobesh, a thief and con-artist fresh out of prison. While burglarizing luxury hotel rooms in North Carolina, Letty discovers plans for a much more disturbing crime. She happens to overhear a hit man accepting a contract to murder the wife of a lawyer. Letty is compelled to intervene, but of course her interference triggers serious consequences. She finds herself on a collision course with the killer, and the two end up in a passionate but dangerous relationship.
Crouch co-wrote the pilot for the series with Chad Hodge, who previously collaborated with the author when he adapted his book series Wayward Pines for TV. Hodge and Crouch will both serve as executive producers of Good Behavior. Hodge is also developing the mystery series Abandon based on Crouch’s books for the USA network.
Michelle Dockery is best known for her role in the smash hit drama series Downton Abbey, for which she has earned three Emmy nominations. With the BBC show about to air its final season, Dockery has been more in demand than ever. In addition to her work on the small screen, she has co-starred in such high profile films as Liam Neeson’s Non-Stop and the new Ryan Reynolds sci-fi thriller Self/less.
