adidas Celebrates Launch of Crazy Light 2 By Putting Fans' Names in Lights
In this year’s NBA Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat are locked in an intense battle, with the winner moving on to face either the San Antonio Spurs or the Oklahoma City Thunder, the two teams that are fighting it out for supremacy in the West. Whoever advances, hoops fans will be treated to an NBA Finals showcasing some of the best basketball talent on the planet.
Followers of the adidas brand have already received a special treat during these NBA Playoffs. To celebrate the release of its 9.5-ounce adizero Crazy Light 2, the company asked fans to hit up the adidas Facebook page and convey what lights them up. And the fans responded. Lots of them. So adidas set up to unveil a 20,000-foot projection outside Boston’s TD Garden during Game 3, featuring the names of their fans in lights. The most engaged adidas users got the brightest lights.
