Just spreadin’ the word to all y’all in the Peach State that D1 Sports Training and Therapy has officially opened the doors of its newest facility, D1 Savannah.
D1 provides custom sports training at 11 state-of-the-art facilities, most located in the southern region of the country. Each one is co-owned by a pro athlete, so you’re guaranteed a first-class training experience.
The Savannah facility, co-owned by former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL running back Herschel Walker, is partnering with the Southeastern Orthopedic Center, enabling D1 also to care for injured athletes and return them to the playing field healthier and stronger.
All of the D1 facilities feature indoor field turf and the most cutting-edge training equipment. What makes the Savannah branch unique to the D1 family—beyond its rehabilitation capabilities—is the addition of an outdoor turf area.
And don’t think for a second that Walker is simply a name behind the facility; you can expect to see one of college football’s all-time greats still training—but for a different sport. The 48-year-old recently discovered a passion for mixed martial arts and has a December Strikeforce match.
Check out exclusive training videos from fellow D1 co-owners who’ve opened the doors to their facilities and put their training methods on display:
D1 Chattanooga [Tenn.], co-owned by Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning
D1 Huntsville (Ala.), co-owned by San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers
D1 Cincinnati, co-owned by U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team defender Heather Mitts
