STACK interviewed DeMarco Murray, the 2014 NFL Offensive Player of the Year, and the Philadelphia Eagles running back talked about the hottest places he has worked out. Murray, a two-time Pro Bowler, attended the the 30th annual Gatorade Athlete of the Year Awards in Los Angeles on July 14.
STACK: What’s the hottest place you’ve worked out? Can you describe the experience?
MURRAY: Yeah, I’m from Las Vegas, so there have been many days where it’s been triple digits and dry heat there, and Dallas was humid, and Philly is also very very humid. So I’m taking part ion a lot of heated workouts.

How about a time when you worked out dehydrated. What did that feel like?
Obviously, your muscles get a little cramped and tight, but you know you have to drink as many fluids as you can. Not just the day of, or a few hours before you do physical work, but in the days leading up to it, you have to rehydrate yourself.

What do you do to refuel and rehydrate during exercise?
Obviously drink a bunch of Gatorade. G2 is my favorite. You want to replenish and stay as hydrated as you can.
