If you’re a prominent athlete who’s lucky enough to be signed by the Jordan Brand, chances are you will never want for any pair of sneakers ever again. And when you’re Dez Bryant, one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, your shoe collection will rise to another level of insanity.
Bryant estimates that he owns between 3,000 and 3,500 pairs of kicks, according to the Star-Telegram, all of them Jordans, since Bryant is one of the brand’s most prominent athletes. Bryant says he receives 50 shoes a week from Air Jordan, many of which won’t be be released to the public for months. Because Bryant gets a head start on rocking the latest heat, he has a strict policy of no longer wearing a sneaker after it hits retail.

“When it releases, I’m done with it,” Bryant said. “I get my shoes six months to a year early. I’m already in January 2017 right now.”
Bryant’s Instagram page is replete with photos of his kicks addiction, from all-purple Air Jordan XIIs to patent leather Air Jordan IVs. His collection might make Michael Jordan himself jealous. Bryant believes that no one in the world except for His Airness can touch him when it comes to footwear.
“Nobody has better shoe game than me, beside Jordan himself,” Bryant said.
We won’t argue with that.
