The rise of Dion Lewis, who bounced around from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Cleveland Browns to the Indianapolis Colts before landing with the New England Patriots this season, is nothing short of amazing.
Lewis had just 36 carries during his first two years in league, and he didn’t even play in 2013 and 2014 because of a leg injury. But he’s become a lethal all-purpose threat for the Pats. With more than 100 all-purpose yards and one receiving touchdown in last night’s win over the Miami Dolphins, Lewis has now racked up almost 600 yards for the Patriots this season. He’s also reached the end zone four times.

Last night, Lewis’s ability was on full display. Swinging out to his left, Tom Brady whipped a pass to Lewis in the flat. With Dolphins linebacker Koa Misi bearing down on him, Lewis hit him with one of the nastiest spin moves we’ve ever seen, removing Misi’s soul from his body. Misi whiffed, and Lewis was gone up the sideline for a big gain.
Asked what happened after the game, Misi was blunt. He said. “[Lewis] juked the s*** out of me.” Well then.
