Drake’s Custom Raptors Championship Ring is Laughably Gigantic
Drake’s team finally got those really big rings.
Last night, the Toronto Raptors received their championship rings prior to a 130-122 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.
The rings, which are the largest championship ring in NBA history, are approximately the size of a hood ornament:
“I have to start lifting more weights so I can carry it around,” Raptors guard Fred VanVleet joked to ESPN.
The rings contain over 650 individual diamonds, the most in any professional championship ring, as well as the largest single diamond in any professional championship ring.
The ring Drake received from the team was personalized to include the words “The Boy”:
Drake also designed his own championship ring with the help of jeweler Jason Aresheben, which appears to be even larger than the team-issued ring. It contains a laughably exorbitant 30 carats of diamonds and is valued at over $150,000:
Toronto just got even colder.
