In case you’ve ever wondered how top NFL players stay in shape during the off-season, Emmanuel Acho gives us a glimpse at how he and some of his former University of Texas teammates cross-train.
Last week, native Texans and Longhorn alumni Emmanuel Acho, Marquise Goodwin, Keenan Robinson, Fozzy Whittaker, Brian Orakpo, and Derrick Johnson reunited at Dancers Shape in Austin for a Barre class.
Me, @FlashGoodwin, @KeenanRobinson1, @FozzyWhitt, @rak98, @superdj56, who’s #NaeNae form was best? #BarreClass #Huahh pic.twitter.com/oLr9pT67u2
— Emmanuel Acho (@thEMANacho) April 4, 2014
Acho posted a photo of the running back, wide receiver and four linebackers struggling to stay in proper barre position. They have one hand on the dance bar and one arm raised high while keeping a barre ball squeezed between their knees and standing on their tip-toes.
It’s definitely not the kind of traditional workout we’re used to seeing football players perform, but it’s entertaining and actually looks really difficult.
To answer Acho’s question, “who’s #NaeNae form was best?” we’re going with Fozzy Whittaker for his focused face and perfect form for Barre Class and the Nae Nae.
Last day with our NFL crew before they head out for Spring Training. Wishing you guys the best of luck this season! pic.twitter.com/wNzJHsh8nd
