No wonder Owens still believes he could play in the NFL. So how is a 42-year old dude this jacked? What’s T.O.’s secret? Daily sprints up Mt. Everest? Swimming laps across the Pacific Ocean? Nope—according to Owens, it’s mostly just a well-balanced diet.
“I eat healthy. I maintain a healthy lifestyle,” Owens recently told STACK. “It’s all about nutrition and how you eat in moderation and just don’t eat to get full. I’ve been able to maintain my level of physique and shape just by eating healthy for the most part.”
Owens definitely works out on a regular basis, but he realizes nutrition is pivotal to how his body looks and performs. He avoids overeating and mostly sticks to a diet high in fruits, veggies and lean sources of protein.
