Rumor: Gal Gadot Joining Zach Galifianakis in ‘Keeping Up With the Joneses’
The list of big names joining the feature film action-comedy Keeping Up With the Joneses keeps growing.
Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious) may be joining Zach Galinfianakis and others in this Fox 2000 picture, centering on an uptight and dissatisfied suburban couple who discover that their sexy, charismatic new neighbors are actually undercover agents. Gadot is negotiating to play Diana Jones.
Also starring are John Hamm (Mad Men) and Isla Fisher, known for big screen films The Great Gatsby and Now You See Me, as well as the small screen comedy series Arrested Development.
The film will be directed by Greg Mottola, best known for his 2007 comedy Superbad. The screenplay was written by You, Me and Dupree writer Michael LeSieur.
Although Gadot has made high-profile films during the past few years, she is garnering more attention for her future projects, especially her long-awaited role as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman and Justice League films. Fans will have a chance to see her before the end of this year in the Kevin Costner, Ryan Reynolds film Criminal, out Aug. 21.
Galifianakis, who has been in demand since his appearance in The Hangover franchise, was last seen on the big screen in Birdman, which recently won the Oscar for Best Picture.
Production on Keeping Up With the Joneses is scheduled to begin this April in Atlanta.
