Icelandic actor Hafthór Björnsson, who plays “The Mountain” on HBO’s Game of Thrones, has already been crowned Europe’s strongest man.
He can deadlift 994 pounds, but it seem that for Björnsson, a mere weighted barbell just won’t do anymore. On Jan. 31, in the World’s Strongest Viking competition, Björnsson took on over half a metric ton. Check out the video player above to see Björnsson training by carrying 1,100 pounds uphill.
