Game’s ‘Year of the Wolf’ Delayed, Will Feature Jeezy, Bobby Shmurda
Game’s forthcoming album, Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf, was slated to arrive later this month, but it’s been delayed until mid-October as the rapper continues to polish the LP.
The project will feature a number of other rappers, including Yo Gotti, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, DUBB, French Montana, Problem, Jeezy, Skeme, Bobby Shmurda, Stat Quo and Tyga. It will also feature production from the likes of Boi 1da, DJ Mustard and Amadeus. Check out the full tracklist here.
Asked about the meaning of the album’s title, the West Coast MC told L.A. radio station Power 106, “Wolves howl. They scream and do all of that. And I just feel like this year I got a lot to get off my chest. And with this album, man, I’m going in on a lot of people. A lot of issues. A lot of stuff.”
Explaining further, he added, “It’s a whole angry movement. This is Los Angeles, ladies and gentlemen. And it’s a lot of f—ery going on out there. And I’m tired of people walking around hitting the red carpets and feeling like, you know, feeling like they Madonna when [they’re really] Ma-thot-a. Basically, what I’m doing is, I’m exposing everything. Everything [and] everybody get it. It’s like one of them tell-all books, but in music form.”
Blood Money: Year of the Wolf will now arrive Oct. 14. Game will follow it up with another album, The Documentary 2, which is expected to arrive in the first half of 2015.
