The 2016 NBA All-Star Game will be played north of the border, and to celebrate, adidas has created Canada-themed uniforms, which unveiled this morning.
The unis for both the East and West squads feature a maple leaf overlay on the front and a silhouette of the Toronto skyline on the back. A patch combining the NBA logo with the maple leaf appears on the back of the jersey, just below the neck. The left leg of the shorts displays a star inside a maple leaf, cut into by the three-claw logo that also dorns the Toronto Raptors' new uniforms.

Following last year's Brooklyn-themed All-Star Game uniforms, adidas appears to be establishing a tradition of incorporating design elements inspired by the city that hosts the All-Star Game. The NBA's contract with adidas expires following next season, and it will be interesting to see if Nike continues the trend.
