Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy Announce ‘Good Kid m.A.A.d City’ Tour
Kendrick Lamar has announced plans to embark on a world tour to promote his critically acclaimed debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d. city. The Compton native will be joined by his Black Hippy counterparts, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock for the U.S. portion.
The tour has scheduled 60 shows in 15 countries, including 15 summer festivals stateside and 22 overseas. Kicking off on May 5 at the Sunfest in West Palm Beach, the tour will go through Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Cleveland, Detroit, Atlanta and Kansas City, before wrapping up its U.S. stint with a performance at the BET Experience in Los Angeles.
In other news, the group will make their magazine cover debut in the upcoming issue of Respect, which will hit shelves at the end of the month.
