Halo 4 Combat Tour is a great opportunity for Halo-obsessed gamers to earn rewards via free Microsoft Points. (Read up on the long-awaited Halo 4.) Once players win points, they can be used to purchase Halo content from the Xbox Live Marketplace.
According to GamesRadar, players who sign up for the Xbox Live Rewards program and play Halo 4 in multiplayer mode can earn points in the following ways: if you play for 35, 70 or 140 hours, you win 100, 300, or 600 points, respectively. In addition, players can earn up to 200 points just by purchasing Halo content through the Xbox Live Marketplace. Eligible gamers who spend 1,500 Microsoft Points on Halo gear in November will receive a 100-point refund. Those who spend 3,000 points will earn a 200-point refund.
Players can also earn points by attending Community Playdates. If an eligible Xbox Live member attends eight or more Playdates in one month, and stays for at least 60 minutes each time, he or she will receive a 100-point reward the following month.
Be advised that Microsoft does not have an unlimited number of points to give away; in fact, Microsoft Rewards has only 10 million points, which will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
Players must sign up for the Xbox Live Rewards program and play Halo 4 in multiplayer mode before they can start earning points. Sign up as soon as possible to make sure you will be rewarded for all your gaming hours. Eligible hours and points will be counted at the end of November, and the rewards should arrive in player’s accounts by Dec. 31, 2012.
