Here’s Why LeBron Stayed Late to Clean Up the Cavs Locker Room After Their Recent Pre-Season Game
LeBron James likes a clean locker room.
So when some of his teammates left their laundry on the floor after the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 108-105 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night, James took matters into his own hands.
Per Cleveland.com reporter Joe Vardon, the 12-time NBA All-Star picked up five or six bags of his teammates’ laundry and personally delivered them to the locker room attendants. His teammates will surely hear about it from King James.
“Hopefully I only have to say something once,” James told Cleveland.com. “Can’t leave the locker room like that.” James didn’t just deliver laundry on Saturday night. He also posted 15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in just 17 minutes of action.
LeBron getting ticked off about a messy locker room shouldn’t come as a surprise. He’s a self-professed neat freak. Back in 2014, he posted this shot on Instagram:

No matter what time I get home or I’m my room on the road. It’s 4:43 am in FREEZING Minneapolis by the way! I have to hang or fold my clothes back. #ItsAMust #NeatFreak #ITakeCareOfMyStuffCauseIRememberNotToLongAgoWhenIDidntHaveMuchAtAll
So, let this serve as a reminder. Don’t be a slob around LeBron. He won’t have any of it.
