Even the best basketball players need to continue to refine their court skills. If they sit around resting on their laurels, their opponents will ultimately pass them by.
Many of the NBA’s elite seek the advice of Ganon Baker, a former pro basketball player who founded the Ganon Baker Basketball Academy (Delray Beach, Florida) 14 years ago. He has worked with thousands of basketball players, including LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul, Deron Williams and Vince Carter.
Needless to say, Baker knows how to make great basketball players even better.
Baker travels throughout the world, teaching basketball skills to athletes in 36 countries. He recently posted a video on YouTube showing an 8-year-old athlete he works with in China demonstrating some serious handles.

Baker believes in developing a complete skillset. A lot of work is done on the court, but he also teaches life skills so that players can be elite in all aspects of their lives. And this includes nutrition.
His go-to sports supplements are from Kyani, which offers three products loaded with superfoods—such as wild Alaskan blueberry, which contains five times more antioxidants than traditional blueberries—to help athletes power up on nutrients and stay healthy.
“I’ve been hit with every product in the world. I try products out first before I promote them and give them to my clients,” says Baker.
When he’s on the court, Baker’s experience playing pro basketball in Europe is evident. Check out the video below for a dribbling drill sequence from Baker.
