James has been playing professional basketball since he finished high school in 2003. Coming into the NBA, he was listed at 240 pounds. According to The Evolution of Eight Professional Athletes, his heaviest weight was 270 pounds. During the summer of 2014, James followed a 67-day diet that excluded sugar, dairy and carbohydrates, and he lost “a ton of weight.”
