Fight Camp 360: Pacquiao vs. Mosley
Following HBO’s popular sports documentary series 24/7, Showtime will produce Fight Camp 360, an in-depth look behind the scenes at boxing training camps. The Showtime series will follow welterweights Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and “Sugar” Shane Mosley as they prepare for a May 7 showdown at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.
The series [trailer below] will document the grueling workouts of both fighters leading up to their highly-anticipated title bout. Pacquiao, guided by trainer Freddie Roach, is known for his rigorous training sessions [check out our recent blog post “The Secret Weapon in Manny Pacquiao’s Training Camp“]. Underdog Mosely, 10-1, has a lot to prove at the age of 39, but he’s promising to shock the world. Regardless of his age, we’re certain that Mosley will bring it in his workouts and mental preparation for the fight.
The first episode will air on Showtime tonight, April 16, at 10 p.m. EDT; the second April 23, at 10 p.m. EDT/PDT; the third April 30, at 10 p.m. EDT/PDT; and the finale on May 6, at 10 p.m. EDT/PDT. At 2 p.m. on May 7, CBS will replay the final episode hours before the fighters touch gloves.
