No matter what type of injury you have, don't try to do too much too soon. Take baby steps throughout your rehab. quot;The biggest thing with rehab is focusing on the day,quot; says Candice Wiggins, guard for the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx. She ruptured her Achilles tendon in 2010. "You can't look ahead. You have to say 'today, I'm going to make it the best day possible.'" View each session as a chance to improve, not a reason to feel depressed. That attitude will help you make incremental progress. "When the day finally comes for you to come back," says Wiggins, ";you'll be focused physically and ready to go."
