Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles was on pace for another stellar campaign in 2015, before a torn ACL in Week 5 brought his NFL season to a screeching halt.
He underwent surgery on Oct. 21 and has spent the past 121 days working his butt off to rehab his right knee and regain his trademark speed and elusiveness. Although Charles still has a long way to go, a recent tweet from the four-time Pro Bowler shows off some impressive progress:
Nobody else doing this four months after surgery! #WorkToWinhttps://t.co/uYgRm0dErN

To see Charles performing those types of exercises just four months after surgery is certainly encouraging. If he keeps up this pace, the sky is the limit for 2016. We’ve seen both Cardinals QB Carson Palmer and Vikings RB Adrian Peterson have spectacular seasons after major knee surgeries, and we’re willing to bet Charles is next in line.
