Watch NBA Prospect Jayson Tatum Make 18 Consecutive 3’s in Less Than a Minute
Duke’s Jayson Tatum is one of the top prospects entering the 2017 NBA Draft. Several mock drafts project him as a top-5 pick. This latest video clip probably won’t hurt that projection.
REALTED: LeBron James Jr. Reportedly Already Has Offers From Duke and Kentucky
Tatum is working with skills coach Drew Hanlen to prepare for the Draft. According to scouts, one of the his few weaknesses is the inconsistency of his outside shot. During his lone year at Duke, the 19-year-old averaged 16.8 points while shooting 34 percent from deep.
But in a recent clip posted to his Instagram, the Tatum’s long ball looks as smooth as can be. He makes 18 three-point shots in a row in less than a minute, hitting them with a form so perfectly consistent that the video looks like a looping GIF.
Sure, he’s in the same spot, unguarded, and not wearing a shirt. But still, 18 three’s in a row is impressive.

The big night is on June 22nd, and maybe Tatum’s demonstration of skill as an outside threat will help the 6-foot-8 big man climb even higher.
