The second episode of Kevin Durant’s video series 35th Hour (check out episode 1) has been released. In it, Durant gives viewers an inside look at his 6 a.m. off-season workout, as well as his summer league match-up against an all-star Melo League roster that included LeBron James, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony. We applaud the filmmaker for connecting the dots on how KD’s workout translates to performance on the court (look out for the visual effects starting at 8:20). By the way, Durant dropped 59 points in that game.
Like the first episode, episode 2 opens with an inspirational quote: “Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.” Without question, Kevin Durant is one of the hardest working pro basketball players in the world, and he continues to work hard on his game every day.
